In 2017, she received bachelors degrees from the University of Saint Joseph in Psychology and in Social Work. She received a Master’s in Social Work from Fordham University in 2018. Throughout her career, she worked as a behaviorist, client advocate, therapist, and resource coordinator in multiple settings including a community mental health agency, residential facility, school, and courthouse. She has been the owner of Empowering Connections LLC since 2021. Build it Katelyn is passionate about supporting and empowering others through any life challenges that they may be experiencing. She focuses on ways that patterns carry over into other areas of one’s life by exploring topics such as attachment, relationships, trauma, and family dynamics. Bella’s background is in Communication Sciences and Disorders, Rehabilitation and Disabilities Studies, and working in municipal social services. Bella has experience running various support groups, supporting clients one-on-one in a therapeutic setting, and ensuring client’s access to services such as transportation, food, rent and energy assistance. Bella is passionate about supporting individuals experiencing anxiety, stress, grief, depression, self-worth and self-esteem challenges, ADHD, and those with family members with differing needs or medical complexities.Bella also enjoys supporting couples with desires to expand communication, process resentment, deepen connection, and work through various challenges.
